Adding Flair to Your Fashion!
Allie Sparks, our guest blogger and intern, wanted to share some great tips on adding flair to your fashion on your wedding day!
Whether you’re going for a romantic look or can’t get enough bling – these sashes and belts are to die for!
How GORGEOUS is this sash/belt?! It has a vintage glamour feel to it and I just love how it sparkles!
My sister is my maid of honor and to have her stand out, we’ve decided to find a pretty flower to put in her hair. Kinda like this…
Beautiful as a headband or a touch of bling on the wedding dress
These are just a few options for sashes, belts and hair accessories – so don’t be afraid to try some out. I love hair accessories and will probably have a pretty pin in mine (if I can ever decide how I want to wear it).
As we say in the South, “the higher the hair, the closer to God.”
If you are looking for something to add a little “oomph” to your wedding gown, bridesmaids’ style, or even a night out on the town, here are some seriously fabulous accessories that will do do the trick!

It would also look beautiful in the bride’s hair in place of a veil or for the reception after she takes the veil off. I mean, really, when will you ever have an excuse to wear a big, beautiful flower in your hair again?!

It would take a special bride with a cool sense of style to pull this off as a sash or head piece – love it!

UNIQUE Wedding: Arianysis & Allan
When Ari first approached us to help her design and plan her wedding, the only thing she brought us was a peacock feather. Upon seeing this, we knew she was the PERFECT bride for us! We created a color scheme utilizing the colors present on the peacock feather, and combined it with a Mediterranean feel. Ari and Allan are extreme opposites. Ari is all about everything old world, dramatic, and over-the-top, and Allan is more laid back, appreciates things more modern, and has an analytical personality. To mimic these two opposites, we created two different centerpieces, one utilizing a bronze candelabra, a tall spray of different florals, and hanging crystals. The second centerpiece consisted of three vases, all the same flower, and they were joined by grasses and branches, representative of wires, because Allan works with computers. Since their reception was such a color blast, we opted for an all white, candlelit ceremony, accented with amber uplighting. Ari wanted something romantic and simple. Besides the personal flowers, not another floral was present. To tie in Ari & Allan's love of theatre, the guests were treated to Playbill programs and ticket escort cards. Each of the table names, important moments in the couple's relationship, were described in a card in the center of each table. Ari wanted to make sure her cake made a statement, and it most definitely did! We brought attention to the six tier confection by keeping it white and placing it in the center of the very colorful reception, complete with blue uplighting. A candy bar and photobooth kept the guests entertained all night. And if that wasn't enough a production, Ari emerged towards the end of the night in an elegant purple gown and performed with her girls! It was truly a wedding that the guests will be talking about for years to come!
