UNIQUE aspects of this wedding was the fact that the reception took place at
MacDill Air Force Base. Utilizing the fighter jets and Air Force planes as photo backdrops, gave this wedding a truly
UNIQUE feel! The church is already gorgeous so there were just two orchid arrangements on the altar. The couple did a sand ceremony with the sand from the beach location where Chris proposed. Instead of a guestbook, they had a plate that all of the guests signed with their well wishes. The stationery was simple and modern white square cards. Instead of table numbers, each table was named after animals native to the Galapagos Islands, where they were going on to be honeymooning. The centerpieces were an
asymmetrical design with a black vase of fuchsia and purple orchids surrounded by black river rocks and candles. The black river rocks and candles also accented the sweetheart table and cake table. The cake design was white with purple crystal swags and a silver
Celtic knot design. One of the most memorable moments of this wedding, was when the groom surprised the bride with his stuffed animal vest since she is a veterinarian and a real animal lover! Everyone wined, dined, and danced all night! It was a fantastic wedding!
