Kristin & Jason's Romantic, Modern Beach Wedding

We were so blessed to be a part of Kristin & Jason's wedding on Friday, March 6 at the Doubletree on North Redington Beach. From the second I first met Kristin, her biggest concern was not to have that "typical" beach wedding and they did not! Their wedding was modern, minimal, and romantic with an interesting color scheme of coral and chocolate brown. With over-the-top details like a vinyl wrapped dance floor, draping & uplighting, a gobo, etc, they created a magical night that their guests are sure to remember! Kristin and Jason were completely calm all day. The only time they were nervous was when they first met for pictures prior to the ceremony. Kristin was absolutely exquisite in a unique gown which combined modern and vintage details. Their ceremony was very special, not alot of decor. They wanted it minimal as not to interfere with the natural surroundings. Just some white garden chairs, some small florals, and a white table where the sand ceremony took place. The reception completely contrasted the ceremony! The veranda had chocolate cocktail tables cinched halfway down with coral sashes. A single rose centerpiece sat on top while a small chandlier hung overhead. Inside, an amber glow filled the room and created a romantic atmosphere, while the chocolate bar kept her guests wired all night! The tall centerpieces, provided by Fish Hawk Weddings, while minimal, made quiet a statement atop each table. The yummy cake from Publix bakery fit in with the color scheme perfectly! The guests were up dancing and partying all night and barely noticed when we blew a fuse! We even snuck away during the dancing to add a romantic touch to their hotel suite!

Nan of Ceremonies by Nan performed the ceremony, while Strings Attached provided the string quartet. A Fly on the Wall Photography captured all of the amazing details like the uplighting, draping, and the dance floor that Event Design provided. Rob Sword of Sword Sounds kept everyone dancing all night. This was my first time working with Rob and he lives up to everything I have heard, he is great!

Yes, I matched the color scheme...it's the designer in me!! ;)
Kristin and Jason, you two were meant for each other! Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your amazing day! We consider ourselves truly lucky to have met you and helped you achieve a beautiful wedding day! Best wishes for a long and happy life together!

Beautiful work Staci! Love the reception room - just gorgeous! The bride and groom are the stars, but it makes such a difference for us photographers when there is attention to detail such as uplighting and go-bos! Great work!
