A Tropical Rehearsal Dinner Overlooking the Beach for Kristin & Jason

When it came to the "look" of Kristin and Jason's wedding, they didn't want anything tropical or stereotypically "beachy." The wanted it modern and romantic, But for their rehearsal dinner, they wanted to treat their out of town guests to that Florida atmosphere. At the Doubletree on North Redington Beach, we created a beachy style, but retained the modern overtone. The room was crisp with white linens and chairs and we accented with aqua blue and, my personal fav, lime green. The room was filled with parasols, candlelight, and colored rocks. We even lined the veranda with chinese lanterns which everyone could appreciate since one wall was full of windows. To incorporate the blue into the tablescapes, we colored the water which was the exact shade of blue to match all of the other elements. The couple's engagement photos taken by A Fly on the Wall Photography were on display for all the guests to see. Even the menus, designed by the bride, echoed the modern, crisp style. Their cake, provided by Publix bakery, was truly impressive! Not only was it delicious, but the colors popped! We got creative with some leftover ribbon by weaving it underneath the cake to create a unique display. Their guests enjoyed having that little taste of Florida and this rehearsal dinner set the tone for an amazing wedding!

Stay tuned for Kristin & Jason's amazing wedding details!

I like the centerpieces here.... simple, but very effective! :-)

I love the color choices and the umbrellas are a great touch! I don't typically see that much decor and styling involved in rehearsal dinners. This is so elegant looking, very nice work!
